I really like your rendition, I've always imagined Remy as a more urban type of character in style and this fits him great. Did you base his facial features off someone else, if you don't mind me asking? He seems familiar.
Ive been an fan of X-men specifically Rogue so of course I inherited a love for gambit. And Im also a fellow artist and tattoo artist. I just want to say I absolutely love your rendition here, you kept his dark feel and purple understates. You definitely aced the lay fare Louisiana feel with hints of sophistication in the clothing. And of course I love the vintage tattoo greaser vibe. Its just a spot on modern take on Gambit, HUGE FAN!
I'd be thrilled if they just did away with that corny-ass trenchcoat of his, and left it back in the 90's where it belongs, with rolled-up jacket sleeves, leg pouches, 8-foot ponytails, and thongs pulled up to the ribcage.
